On your behalf, the Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce members have joined together to advance the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of the Celina-Mercer County area. Business Opportunities...chamber members are referred when a request of availability of a type of goods or service is received at the Chamber.

Public Relations...a community center for both visiting people and local citizens. A clearing house for a myriad of questions!
 
Acts as an Information Center for the Area...seeks and compiles information on various subjects. Disburses to inquirers by mail and telephone.
 
Buyer's Guide & Membership Directory...providing a printed list of name, address, phone, and activity is published annually. Each member is listed in the Buyer's Guide and Membership Directory in the appropriate category to guide buyers to their businesses.

Partnership...a partner with the Business Enterprise Center at WSU-LC. Members have access to one- on-one confidential business counseling through this center.

Membership Meetings...several times a year gives members a chance to get to know your fellow members. The Chamber's Annual Banquet is held each year and honors a leading citizen.

Seminars & Workshops...periodically offered on a variety of pertinent subjects for the membership and the public. Often work with the Small Business Development Center to bring you the best training possible.
 
Gift Certificate Program...the Chamber office sells $5, $10 and $20 gift certificates to members and the general public which can be used as cash at members place of business to purchase goods or services. These certificates are redeemed at face value upon presentation at the Chamber office

by chamber members.
 
Grand Lake Area Safety Council...chamber sponsored industry organization in the two county area that deals with Health and Safety Issues and Environmental Issues. Designed to help our industries stay knowledgeable about government mandates, regulations and compliances.  Active safety

council members can receive a 4% rebate off their BWC premiums.
 
Assesses Community Needs...a watchful eye on Mercer County Community needs. Acts where situation calls for activity from the chamber.
 
Sets Annual Goals and Objectives...working with various committees, organizations and government to achieve the goals and objectives set each year.
 
Group Insurance Plan...your chamber is a member of the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance and the NOACC which allows many cost saving programs on health insurance. Eye glasses and dental are included in some programs. Paramount, Anthem, United Health Care and Medical Mutual (formerly Summitt Insurance) offer special chamber discounts on your premiums.  We are pleased to offer a special discount from Autos Owners Insurance to chamber members on auto, home, personal umbrella insurance plus multiple policy discounts. Worker's Compensation Group Rating Program...The Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance workers compensation group rating program continues to save its participating members huge discounts on their premium payments to the BWC.  These significant savings give you the competitive edge because they reflect a reduction in the cost of doing business. If you would like to find out more about this great chamber benefit, contact Hunter Consulting.
 
Leadership Mercer County...an educational program designed to build more and better volunteers for communities in the Mercer County area. The program is open to all adult persons within the county. Each year the participants attend a one day a month for ten months class. Classes start in September and end in June. Subjects are varied and county-wide. Class is limited to 20 participants each year.
 
Youth Leadership Mercer County...an educational program designed to encourage and build leadership capabilities in students throughout the Mercer County. Three students from each of the six high schools in Mercer County plus three students from Wright State University Lake Campus are participants in the program. The program is funded through scholarships provided by business and industry within the county. Each student will have earned three college credits from WSU upon completion of the program.
 
Advertising That Works...Promote your business to over 375 prospects through advertising in our newsletter, community book, map and other projects.
 
Discount Prescription Drug Program thru SOCA.  If you have no prescription drug
insurance, you can still receive up to 65% off your prescription drugs.  There is no
cost to the employer for this program.  For Chamber members and their employees and their

EyeMed Access D discount Vision -- This program can save members hundreds of

dollars on their eyewear purchases including discounts on exams.  Enrollment form.

New Member Photo...New Chamber members will have a new member photo taken which will

be distributed to local newspapers and online newspapers. 

Chamber Website...All members are listed on the Chamber website in alphabetical order and

also by category of business.  Customers can find you business easily via the chamber

website.  You can also have your business hyperlinked from our website directly to yours.
